Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan pada Universitas Prima Indonesia Medan

Abstract

The study is conducted at the Library of Prima Indonesia University, Medan. It is aiming to find out the work of information system at this Library. The observation and literary study are employed. The result of the study shows that the information system is carried out; J) to process the library materials as the system which helps librarians process them, using SIPERPLUS. 2) as circulation service system which help librarians process guest reception, borrowing, and returning the colection, and 3) as the tracing facility or OPAC, a tools to find books by conducting information retrieval activity through bibliogrphical data.
