    Abstract
Kampung Bali is a Balinese community settlement in the interior of Langkat Regency, which is located in Paya Tusam Village, Wampu District. The history of Kampung Bali begins with the eruption of Mount Agung which occurred in 1963. The transmigration carried out by the Balinese people has been carried out in an organized manner. In 1969 the Balinese transmigrated to Medan who strated their arrival by signing a work contract at the Tanjung Gabus and Bandar Selamat plantations, namely the PNP 2 plantation located in Lubuk Pakam. Then in 1975 the Balinese people moved to Kampung Bali, Dusun VI Cipta Dharma, Paya Tusam Village, Wampu District, Langkat Regency. The mean reason for the Balinese choosing this area as their place of residence is because the amount of land provided is sufficient for the life of each head the of the family. Each family head is given about 2 hectares of land to cultivate and work as their income. This study uses a qualitative approach method. This research continues from the Field Work Practice (PKL) course for one month in November and is continued with futher research for three month, starting from may 2023, by collecting data through direct observation of local community activies related to the phases pregnancy, pregnancy care, habits, teboos, traditional rituals and ceremonies performed during pregnancy. Interviews werw also conducted with stakeholders, ladies and gentlemen and the surrounding community, as well as documentation bt searching for audio visuals in the form of recorded imterviews, photographs and literature studies. The results showed that the pregnancy cycle in Balinese society consists og pregnancy phases, starting from the embryonic phase, habits and care carried out by the family, husbands for pregnant women.
