A Description of Music Kolintang in Manado Etnich Group

Abstract

Music is an art that can be accepted by all groups, both in terms of age, culture, religion. Likewise with the musical instrument of North Sulawesi, namely Kolitang. Kolintang is used to accompany traditional events, wedding parties, welcome guests and is now starting to be combined with modern musical instruments. This research describes the history and function of Kolintang music universally using qualitative methods from various sources such as online interviews, YouTube, Google and draws conclusions.
