Analisis Pengujian Kelayakan Pemberian Kredit Modal Kerja UMKM Berdasarkan Prinsip 5C pada PT Bank Sumut Tahun 2020-2022

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the application of 5C (Character, Capacity, Capital. Collateral and Condition of Economy) on the granting of UMKM working capital credit at PT Bank SUMUT, to find out the implications caused to the implementation of the validity analysis of credit granting UMKM and solution of PT Bank SUMUT in minimizing the occurrence of Non Performing Loan (NPL). This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The primary data source is the results of interviews with the banking authorities related to credit eligibility analysis using principle 5C and secondary data such as books, journals and annual reports for 2020-2022 supporting the writing. The results of this study show that the implementation of the validity analysis of the granting of credit of UMKM working capital in PT Bank SUMUT has been done well in accordance with the provisions of the bank. Implications in the granting of credit give a good impact such as increasing the number of customers and minimizing the occurrence of credit clogged of non performing loan.
