Electricity plays a very important role in human life. It can be said that
electricity has become the main source of energy in every activity carried out both
in the household and in industry. PT. PLN (Persero) is the largest electricity service
provider in Indonesia. This company has made many major contributions in
supplying the electricity needs of the community. However, PT PLN (Persero)
Medan is still facing many challenges in dealing with arrears in customer
electricity bills. Based on the results of interviews in this study, it appears that the
efforts that have been made by PT PLN Medan Baru in dealing with arrears in
electricity bills by applying the electricity payment limit rule are every 20th. This
study uses qualitative research methods and the techniques used are descriptive
techniques by describing the results of the research based on the results of
interviews and observations at PT PLN.
