Abstract

The purpose of the research to be achieved in writing this Paper is to find out the personal grooming of room attendants in the housekeeping department at Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Centre Balige. This research took place at Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Centre Balige. By using qualitative research with a descriptive method, namely observing directly the object under study related to existing theories. The author took the population, namely employees of the housekeeping department, and for the sample, the author took room attendants in the housekeeping department at Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Centre Balige. This research is carried out by examining the problem directly in accordance with the existing problem formulation as a reinforcement of the data that has been obtained by researching according to the list of problems to be studied. With the formulation of the problem, how is the personal grooming of Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Centre Balige?. Data collection techniques carried out are by direct observation and literature study. Based on data collection and the results of research conducted by the author that personal grooming of Labersa Toba Hotel & Convention Center Balige room attendants as a whole is good, but there are some who do not apply and need to get more attention in terms of hair tidiness, the use of perfume, the use of uniforms not on schedule, not using identification marks, not using makeup, and using shoes that are not in accordance with hotel standards.
