Abstract
The use of information technology, access to the company's business
processes can be done quickly so that it is easier and more accurate in the end the
goals of the organization are achieved. In this case HR development in an
organization or company is needed to improve employee performance.
This study aims to analyze how the influence of the use of information
technology and HR development on the performance of employees of CV. Prenada
Media Group Medan. The influence of the use of information technology and HR
development will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee
performance.
The form of research used in this research is quantitative research with an
associative approach. Sampling was done through saturated sampling technique
with 30 respondents as a sample. The primary data used in this study were obtained
by distributing questionnaires directly while the secondary data was obtained
through a literature study. The data analysis method used is the validity test,
reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and
hypothesis testing.
The results of the research conducted show that the variable use of
information technology (X1) and HR development (X2) has a significant effect on
work effectiveness and all independent variables simultaneously (simultaneously)
affect employee performance (Y). The coefficient of determination test shows that
there is a fairly close relationship between the use of information technology and
HR development on work effectiveness with an R value of 0.568. Through the
Adjusted R square value it is also known that the variable use of information
technology and HR development contributes 29% to employee work effectiveness
while the remaining 71% is influenced by other variables that are not discussed in
this study
