Pengaruh Rasio-Rasio Keuangan terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba pada Perusahaan Makanan dan Minuman yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2017-2021

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Net Profit Margin, and Working Capital to Total Assets on Profit Growth in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period. This type of research is associative causal (causal research) with a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data, namely the financial statements of each company obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange website. The population in this study were 34 companies, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling so that the selected sample was 17 companies with a total of 85 observations. Data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the current ratio and total asset turnover have a positive effect on profit growth, while the debt to equity ratio, net profit margin and working capital to total assets have no effect on profit growth.
