Pengelolaan Arsip Statis pada Kantor Arsip Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Archives Office has a vision, namely, to become a center for development and archival information services providing an advantage of good governance that supports universities to compete on a global level. This vision has one goal, namely saving permanent archives. In managing static archives, the University of North Sumatra Archives Office referred to the Rector's Regulations, Law Number 43 of 2009 and Institutional SOPs. This study also aimed to investigate the static archive management at the Archives Office of the University of North Sumatra. The data were collected through literature studies, field studies, interviews, and documentation. The research findings show that: (1) The acquisition at the Archives Office of the University of Sumatra had been well implemented, which aimed to add to the static archives treasures and save the static archives in the University of North Sumatra; (2) The static archives management at the University of North Sumatra Archives Office had been running well, which was carried out for case of static archives retrieval; (3) The static archives at the University of Sumatra Archives Office had been well preserved, the preservation was carried out to maintain the physical and contents of the archives (4) The access to static archives at the University of of North Sumatra Archives Office had been running well, which could only be accessed by communities in the University of North Sumatra Campus environment
