    Abstract
The 11eedfor electrical e11ergy for ma11ki11d today has a very important role. Along with that, the need for electrical energy is increasing. With the increasing need for electrical energy, an adequate source of electrical energy is also needed. Wind power generation technology was developed to be able to co11nect into the electrical system. The available wind energy capacity that can be converted into electric power is 1.26x109 MW Wi11d energy can produce electrical energy by using wind turbines. A generator commonly used in wind turbine-based electrical energy generation is the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). The amount of output power produced by PMSG varies, depending on the amount of wind speed. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is used to obtain the maximum power value of this electrical energy generation. MPPT-based Perturb & Observe (P&O) method has been widely used in the search for maximum power values. Based 011 research that has been carried out, the use of the MPPT system using the peturb and Obserb (P &O) algorithm on the wind h1rbine can improve the work of the wind turbine, so that wind turbines that use the MPPT system work better than wind turbines that do not use the MPPT system in determining their maximum worki11g poi11t. MPPT Peturb and Obserb has an algorithm that ca11 increase a11d decrease the voltage as we wa11t. With automatic programmed Duty Sycle changes, so it can track the voltage to its MP. Using the Peturb and Obserb algorithm, the voltage will be tracked towards the MP value by converting the current value into voltage.
