Pengaruh Penerimaan Pajak Daerah, Retribusi Daerah, dan Jumlah Penduduk terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) di Kabupaten/Kota Sumatera Utara Tahun 2018-2020
Abstract
The level of economic growth in a region is greatly influenced by the
growth rate of a region's population, where an increase in the number of workers
will cause a decrease in wages earned. This research aims to determine the
influence of regional tax revenues, regional levies, and population on original
regional income in the District/City of North Sumatra Province. The sample in the
research was 33 regencies/cities in North Sumatra Province in the 2018-2020
observation period. The sampling technique used in this research is the saturated
sampling method, where the entire population is used as the research sample. The
data used in the research is secondary data obtained from the official website of
the Directorate General of Financial Balance and the official website of the
Central Statistics Agency. The data obtained and collected were then processed
using the SPSS version 16 application. The research results showed that the
variables of regional tax revenue and regional levies had a partially significant
effect on local original income. Furthermore, the research results show that the
population variable does not have a partially significant effect on local original
income. In simultaneous testing, it was found that the variables of regional tax
revenue, regional levies, and population had a significant simultaneous effect on
regional original income.
