dc.description.abstractLiterature is one of the learning media for readers to expand knowledge and find information. One type of literature is short stories. Moral values are always present in every literary work, including short stories. Moral values in short stories can usually be assessed from the attitudes and words conveyed by the characters. This is so that readers not only get entertainment from what they read, but can take good moral values in the story and then be able to apply them in their lives. Some examples of moral values that can be applied are honesty, politeness, gentleness, responsibility, and unselfishness. The method used in writing this paper is literature, where the witer found the data sources from books, journals, articles, and various references on the internet. Then the whole is presented in this paper. The result of writing this paper is that the writer found moral values in short stories which are divided into good morals and bad morals. The two characters have different characters and have different moral values.en_US
