Keanekaragaman Makrofauna Tanah Pada Areal Rerumputan dan Semak yang tidak dan Diberi Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Sebagai Pupuk
Abstract
The role of soil macrofauna is to maintain soil fertility through the breakdown of the
organic matter, the distribution of nutrients, the increasing aeration and the soil
drainage. This research was conducted to determine the presence of the species, the
population density, the diversity, the uniformity and the similarity of the soil
macrofauna in areas of grass and bushes that were not treated and were treated with
liquid palm oil mill waste at PT. KMSA Mampang Village, Kotapinang District,
South Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province. This research method was
Purposive Sampling method, Quadratic method and Hand Sorting. The soil
macrofauna was found in all research blocks as many as 23 species belongs to 3
phyla, 7 classes, 12 orders and 16 families. The highest species density value was the
Camponotus ariceps species in Block 2 with a density value of 132.2 individuals/2m2.
The diversity index (H') and the uniformity (E) are classified as medium with high
uniformity. The highest Similarity Index value was obtained in Blocks 2 and 3 with a
value of 58.33%.
