    Abstract
This research is entitled "Opinions of Entertainment Business Actors on Micro Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Medan City". The research method employed is Descriptive Quantitative. The aim of this study is to determine the majority opinion of entertainment business operators regarding the implementation of micro community activity restrictions (PPKM) in Medan City, as well as the majority opinion of entertainment business operators regarding the role of media during the implementation of micro community activity restrictions (PPKM) in Medan City. The theory used in this study is Public Communication, Mass Communication, and Public Opinion. The population of this research consists of entertainment business operators in Discotheques, Pub/Live Music venues, Karaoke establishments, Massage Parlors, and Spas, totaling 306 establishments. The sample size is 75 individuals, determined using the Taro Yamane formula with a precision of 10% and a confidence level of 90%. This research applies the Accidental Sampling technique. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and literature reviews. The data analysis technique employed is single-table analysis using Statistical Product and System Solution (SPSS) version 29.0. The research findings indicate that the majority opinion of entertainment business owners is that the implementation of micro-scale community activity restrictions (PPKM) in the city of Medan is an appropriate measure, but it has a negative impact on entertainment business owners. A majority of 57.3% of entertainment business owners state that media coverage of the implementation of micro-scale community activity restrictions (PPKM) has had a detrimental effect on the entertainment industry.
