    Abstract
This research is entitled "Self-Disclosure of Adolescents Using Addictive Social Media TikTok with Their Parents (Case Study of Interpersonal Communication in Families in Naga Dolok Village, Simalungun Regency)". The aim of this research is to determine the process of interpersonal communication in the family between parents and teenage children in Naga Dolok Village and to analyze the self-disclosure of teenagers who use the addictive social media TikTok with their parents in Naga Dolok Village. The theories used in this research are Interpersonal Communication, Self-Disclosure, Johari Window, Teenagers, Parents, New Media, Gadgets, Addictive Behavior and Tiktok social media. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used was through observation and in-depth interviews. Researchers carried out a series of data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and testing data validity. Testing the validity of the data in this study used source triangulation. There were twelve informants in this study, namely; five teenagers who are addictive users of social media TikTok as the main informants, five parents of teenagers as additional informants as well as one communication expert and one village head, determining the informants using purposive sampling technique. The results of this research prove that the five informants felt safe when opening themselves up to their mother figure. Having good communication and without any communication barriers does not make teenage informants completely open regarding their personal aspects. Only 1 out of 5 teenage informants did not have a secret window with their mother, namely informant four. Informant four talked about all areas ranging from friendship, finances, education to personal problems. Informant one was only open to the fields of education and finance. Informant two opened himself up in the areas of friendship, finances and work. Informant five is more closed and only opens up in the field of friendship, and this is also not comprehensive because informant five admits that he is an indifferent and closed type.
