dc.description.abstract | The parking sector is not spared from the current industrial revolution 4.0 which presents various forms of advanced technology on an ongoing basis in existing parking lots. One of the uses of the 4.0 revolution by the Medan City government for the digital payment system is the cashless parking program or electronic parking. The public feels more accepting of the electronic parking payment system because it is considered fast, transparent and minimizes parking attendants raising rates at will. This study aims to see the effect of knowledge of electronic money products on people's interest in using electronic parking in the cashless society era in Medan City. This study uses structural functional theory, based on the idea of AGIL from Talcott Parsons. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are the people of Medan City who have used electronic parking, with a sample of 100 respondents, with the sampling technique using nonprobability sampling method, namely accidental sampling technique. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to the field and through the Google form. Secondary data obtained through library research. Data processing uses analytical methods, namely validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that: (1) Based on the hypothesis test, it is obtained t count 9,234 > t table 1,661 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the variable knowledge of electronic money products has a positive and significant effect on the variable public interest use electronic parking; (2) Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, the variable knowledge of electronic money products has an influence of 46.5% on people's interest in using electronic parking in the cashless society era in Medan City, so the rest is influenced by factors outside of this research model, which is equal to 53,5%. A sociological perspective with the idea of AGIL theory in which the change from a conventional parking payment system to electronic parking in Medan City will survive in the era of a cashless society. | en_US |
