    Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to describe the types of love contained in The Weeknd's song lyrics and describe the positive and negative impacts contained in The Weeknd's song lyrics. The theory used in this paper is the theory of Sears, 1994. The data source for this research is the song lyrics from The Weeknd's album entitled Blinding lights, after hours, die for you, call out my name, and false alaem. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. The types of love found in this paper are romantic love, mutual love, altruistic love, and playful love. The Weeknd's song lyrics contain positive and negative impacts. Like sadness, suffering, joy.
