Pembangkitan Laporan Kepuasan Pengajaran Mata Kuliah secara Otomatis Menggunakan Pendekatan Topic-Based Template

Abstract

Learning evaluation is important to determine the extent of the success of the teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, where schools and lectures implemented a distance learning system. Evaluation can be done using evaluation instruments such as interviews, questionnaires, and observations. An example of an evaluation that can be carried out is by using a questionnaire to determine the level of satisfaction with teaching courses. The collected data is then analyzed and the results are interpreted in textual reports. However, the process of making this report feels repetitive and inefficient because it is still done manually by staff. Therefore, we need an approach to automate the process. In this study, the author generated a course teaching satisfaction report with a template-based method. The template-based approach is used due to the unavailability of an adequate corpus that makes it unsuitable to use other methods. The processes carried out in this study are data formatting, content determination, structure determination, microplanning, and realization. The system will convert numerical data from the answers to the course teaching satisfaction questionnaire into textual reports in Indonesian. The test results in this study show that the proposed approach can obtain naturalness values ranging from 73% to 94.54% assessed by academic staff and students.
