Analisis Perbaikan Tegangan Jatuh Menggunakan Tap Changer Transformator Dan Penempatan Kapasitor Bank Pada Penyulang Dengan Genetic Algorithm
Abstract
Electricity demand in Indonesia is already increasing, as economic growth
and high population. The effect of electrical energy will operate excessively, to
meet the required demand. It can create problems such as an unauthorized tension
drop, increased power loss in the channel and also result in an unbalanced load. One
way to improve the voltage and power loss profiles is by adding a Tap Changer and
Bank Capasitor. In this thesis included additional of Tap Changer and Bank
Capacitor on the IEEE 33 Bus network system using Genetic Algorithm (GA)
method to determine values, capacity and location of the Tap Changer and
Capacitor Bank systems. From the simulation already done that the installation of
2 Tap Changers and 2 Capacitors of the Bank can improve the voltage profile of 21
buses that originally existed outside the standard IEEE became fully optimal. There
is also a decrease in active power losses of 72 kW originally of 202,7 kW to 130,7
kW, and a decrease in reactive power losses of 41,8 kVar to 93,3 kVar.
