    Abstract
    Evakuasi kondisi darurat merupakan suatu hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh setiap pengelola bangunan gedung. Namun demikian, hingga saat ini masih sering ditemui bangunan gedung yang beroperasi tapi belum memenuhi persyaratan sertifikat laik fungsi bangunan. Salah satu bangunan yang perlu diperhatikan sistem tanggap darurat dan jalur evakuasinya adalah bangunan hotel. Bangunan hotel merupakan suatu bangunan hunian vertikal yang mempunyai banyak pengguna dan aktivitas. Guna mengetahui efektifitas jalur evakuasi berdasarkan kecepatan evakuasi pengguna, dilakukan observasi untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting dan simulasi menggunakan software Rockwell Arena untuk mengetahui kecepatan evakuasi pengunjung di bangunan hotel (Studi Kasus: Hotel Grand Kanaya). Hasil simulasi software Rockwell Arena mengindikasikan bahwa jalur evakuasi pada bangunan hotel (Studi Kasus: Hotel Grand Kanaya) belum efektif sehingga dibutuhkan adanya rekomendasi desain untuk meningkatkan efektivitas jalur evakuasi.
     
    Emergency evacuation is a thing that every building maintenance team should be aware about. Instead, until today, many operating building are not fullfiled feasible building requirements. Hotel building is one of building that the emergency system and evacuation route need to be watched. Hotel building is a temporary vertical residential building that has many users and activities. In order to find out the effectiveness of evacuation routes based on the evacuation speed of visitors, observation was conducted to determune the existing condition and simulation using software Rockwell Arena was conducted to determine the evacuation speed of visitors at the hotel buildig (Stucy Case: Grand Kanaya Hotel). Simulation results using software Rockwell Arena obtained indicate that the evacuation route of hotel building (Study Case: Grand Kanaya Hote) has not been effective therefore it needs design recommendation to improving the effectivity of evacuation route.
