A reconfigurable antenna is an antenna that can be configured to work according to specified conditions. In this research, a reconfigurable microstrip dipole antenna was designed with the use of electronic switches to operate at frequencies of 1.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz. The design was carried out using the AWR simulator and utilized FR4 substrate material with a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6mm. Based on the optimal design, the reconfigurable microstrip dipole antenna in the ON switch state has a resonance frequency of 1.8 GHz with a return loss of -20.09 dB, a VSWR of 1.22, a bandwidth of 1.025 GHz, a gain of 4.883 dB, and a unidirectional radiation pattern. In the OFF switch state, the design resonates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a return loss of -23.58 dB, a VSWR of 1.142, a bandwidth of 1,431 GHz, a gain of 4.884 dB, and a unidirectional radiation pattern
