Desain Pintu Air Otomatis Berbasis Iot pada Prototype Pembangkit Listrik Picohidro
Abstract
In Picohydro Power Plant, a water dam or water reservoir in order to produce greater water thrust and also store water to drive a water generator, the sluice gate on the water dam plays an important role in channeling water from the dam to the water turbine. Automatic floodgates in Picohydro Power Plants play an important role to help and also simplify human work in controlling and monitoring the floodgates of picohydro power plant dams. In this study the authors designed an IoT (Internet of Things) based automatic floodgate prototype design using the Node MCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller, and the floodgates can be controlled to open in stages of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, the automatic floodgate system can also raise or lower the floodgates automatically to maintain the generator output voltage, ultrasonic sensors as water level readers on the dam, and also voltage sensors as voltage output readers generated by the generator, and the system can be monitored through the blynk application. Based on the results of testing the automatic sluice Prototype design system in the power plant that was successfully designed, the sluice system can work as expected, and in the condition of the sluice gate open 100% produces a power of 0.192 watts, and obtained a turbine rotational speed of 341 RPM, with the voltage generated is 2.4 volts
