Analisis Heat Loss pada Air Preheater dan pengaruh terhadap Efisiensi Boiler Circulating Fluidized Bed (Cfb)
Abstract
A tubular air preheater plays an important role to increase the efficiency of circulating
fluidized bed (CFB) boiler. But after several years of operation, in Tenayan Steam
Power Plant there was a leak in the air preheater. Therefore, in this study an analysis
of heat loss in the air preheater and the effect on boiler efficiency is carried out by
calculating the effectiveness value of the air preheater and heat loss that occurs in the
air preheater and seeing the effect on boiler efficiency with support of Aspen Plus
Simulation. From this study, it was found that the effectiveness value of air preheater
is 74,68% and heat loss is 25,31%. Boiler efficiency without heat loss in air preheater
is 76,25%, boiler efficiency with operasional heat loss in air preheater (25,31%) is
74,89%, which is an effect of 1,36% when compared to before the heat loss in air
preheater, boiler efficiency with 15% heat loss variation in air preheater is 75,47% an
effect of 0,78% when compared to boiler efficiency without heat loss in air preheater,
and with 35% heat loss variation in air preheater is 74,29% an effect of 1,96% of boiler
efficiency without heat loss in air preheater
