dc.description.abstractis a company engaged in the production of wood-based furniture, namely chairs, tables and doors. There are problems experienced by companies where there are cases where consumer orders cannot be fulfilled in a timely manner. This is due to the occurrence of cases of cross-movements, setbacks and the order of placement of work departments that are far apart, resulting in the transfer of quite long distances.This research was carried out with the aim of getting a better production floor layout by reducing the material movement distance using the Graphic Method and the CORELAP Algorithm so that a layout plan with a Line Efficiency Rate above 75% is formed. The company's actual layout has a total displacement moment of 9206.72 m/month with a Line Efficiency Rate of 64.04% and is considered inefficient because it does not pass the minimum threshold of 75%. The research results show that using the graphic method, the total displacement moment was reduced to 7680.71 m/month and to 7470.59 m/month with the CORELAP algorithm. Based on a comparison of the actual layout, the graphic method and the CORELAP algorithm, it was found that the best layout plan was the result of the CORELAP algorithm design with a Line Efficiency Rate of 85.29% and could be said to be an efficient layout because it was above the minimum threshold of 75%.en_US
