Penempatan Optimal Static Var Compensator untuk mengurangi Rugi Rugi Daya pada Sistem Distribusi menggunakan Metode Modified Shark Smell Optimization (Msso) (Studi Kasus : IEEE 33 bus)
Abstract
Power loss is an important parameter in the distribution network that must be maintained. Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) equipment such as Static Var Compensator (SVC) can solve power loss problems. However, choosing the optimal location and capacity of devices in the network is a concern. In this thesis, optimal location and SVC capacity placement was carried out using the Modified Shark Smell Optimization (MSSO) method. Optimization will be carried out on the IEEE 33 Bus network system. From the results of the simulation carried out, the installation of 3 SVCs on bus 28, bus 29 and bus 30 was obtained. A power flow study was carried out on the system and obtained power loss losses. By comparing the results of the initial state power flow study, namely before optimization and after optimization, there was a decrease in active power loss from 202.7 kW to 141.9 kW or a decrease of 60.8 kW (29.9%), and a decrease in reactive power loss from 135.1 kVAR to 95.4 kVAR or a decrease of 39.7 kVAR (29.38%)
