dc.description.abstractA combustion engine is a type of intensity motor that converts chemical energy into mechanical energy and the transformation is completed in the actual motor. The objectives of this research are: 1. Analyze the power of the standard Honda Beat piston with a modified piston. 2. Analyze the torque of the standard Honda Beat piston with the modified piston. 3. Analyze changes in Honda Beat cylinder volume and modified piston. 4. Analyze the impact of fuel consumption on changes in piston diameter. This research was carried out using an experimental method, namely a method of looking for a causal relationship between two influencing factors. This research uses an explanatory investigation procedure, namely by paying direct attention and recording the research results. The conclusions drawn from this research include: 1. Maximum power results from the standard piston (50) are 6.54 hp at 6200 rpm and the power from the modified piston (52) is 6.93 hp at 5700 rpm, which has increased by 5. 62%. 2. Results The maximum torque from the standard piston (50) is 7.57 N.m at 6000 rpm and the torque from the modified piston (52) is 8.65 N.m at 5600 rpm which has increased by 12.48%. 3. The results of the change in piston cylinder volume increased from 108cc on the standard piston (50) to 117cc after using the modified piston (52) 4. The results of the fuel consumption test increased by 12.54% at a load of 65 Kg and 3.61% at a load 117 Kg. 5. The calculation results of the average effective pressure on the standard piston (50) is 139.07 kPa and the average effective pressure on the modified piston (52) is 147.97 kPaen_US
