Desain Perbandingan Reduksi Arus Harmonisa pada Vsd menggunakan Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation dan Hybrid Pulse Width Modulation dengan Beban Motor Induksi 3 Fasa
Abstract
Three-phase induction motors are widely used as prime movers for industrial and commercial machines. However, an induction motor must also have a device to control the speed so that the performance efficiency of the motor is getting better. One of the tools used to regulate the rotational speed of a three-phase induction motor is the Variable Speed Drive (VSD). VSD is a non-linear load so it will produce harmonic distortion. In this study, the authors used four methods to reduce harmonic currents that occur in VSD, namely the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) injection method, and Hybrid Pulse Width Modulation. After the research was conducted, the authors found that the most effective method for reducing harmonic currents for the Variable Speed Drive was the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) method. The current THD value in the R, S, and T phases produced by the Variable Speed Drive with the SVPWM injection method decreased from 7.14%,7.17%, 7,58% to 3.77%,3.53%, and 2.19%
