    Abstract
Mineral Water Vending Machines (MWVM) have become a popular solution for providing easy and fast access to quality drinking water. This research aims to analyze the quality of well water sources and river water in MWVM based on solar power as an energy source for machines to operate independently and environmentally friendly. This system is equipped with a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor, pH sensor, temperature sensor and color sensor to identify key parameters in measuring water quality. The TDS sensor is used to measure total dissolved solids in water, the pH sensor is used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of water, the temperature sensor is used to measure water temperature, while the TCS34725 color sensor is used to detect color changes resulting from water by providing RGB value readings (Red, Green, Blue). Well water and river water are filtered using a Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter as a water filter and purifier. The TDS sensor is calibrated using a TDS meter, the pH sensor is calibrated using a pH meter and the temperature sensor is calibrated using a thermometer. By producing an average that complies with drinking water standards. The results of measuring well water after filtering had an average TDS value of 41.9 ppm; pH 7.34; the temperature is 28.87°C and the color sensor value has an average RGB value (Red 841.4; Green 586.4; Blue 407.8) while the river water after filtering has an average TDS value of 42.9 ppm; pH 7.36; the temperature is 28.96°C and the color sensor value has an average RGB value (Red 840.6; Green 586.5; Blue 408.6). From these results, well water and river water filtered using MWVM have met several physical and chemical parameters according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/Menkes/Per/TV/2010 concerning Drinking Water Quality Requirements.
