Penerapan Pariwisata Berkelanjutan pada Aspek Lingkungan & Budaya di Kec Fanayama, Nias Selatan

Abstract

Tourism is a tourist activity supported by tourist service facilities that have been provided by the local community, entrepreneurs, central government, and local government. Tourism is very dependent on the environment and culture, which may have the potential to improve the quality or even destroy the quality of the environment and culture, to keep tourism can have a positive effect on the environment and culture then tourism must be sustainable. Sustainable tourism is a way to maintain and have a positive impact in the present and in the future through environmental and cultural aspects that must be interrelated. The research was conducted in the Fanyama sub-district of South Nias which has a million tourism charms of natural beauty, culture and megaliths, in this area there has been a decline in the quality of the environment and traditional villages as tourist destinations. Likewise, the culture tends to be rarely preserved. The method used in this research is a mixed method, namely by collecting data through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The expected research objectives are able to improve the quality of tourist destinations in the area and improve the quality of the environment and culture. And the results obtained from the research are the poor quality of the environment in the Fanayama sub-district and the good culture in the Fanayama subdistrict area
