Tegal Sari Mandala III Neighborhood five is a residential area that is not clean and prone to flooding, so this area becomes a light slum area. Slums must be eliminated so that they do not continue to occur and become commonplace for Indonesian society. Each place has different problems and solutions to solve this slum problem. This research uses qualitative and quantitative methods. This method is the right method to study the slum research area. From the results of the analysis, researchers can also conclude that the main problem of these slums is that the environment is not maintained, such as the accumulation of garbage, garbage that is scattered not properly sorted which causes flooding, turbid rivers and bad smelling environments. These problems can be solved by building and improving the quality of the settlement by building a night market and green space on the banks of the Sulang Saling Riveren_US
