dc.description.abstractIn general, safety culture is defined as the way workers behave safely when working unsupervised. Moreover, to evaluate the safety culture maturity level, this study used five levels, which were categorized into pathological, reactive, calculative, proactive, and generative levels. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of safety culture dimensions on the safety culture maturity level in order to generate a work safety culture concept that can be implemented at PT PLN (Persero) PUSMANPRO UPMK IV to improve the maturity of the company’s safety culture to a more optimal level. This study is quantitative research with structural equation modeling using SmartPLS software as a test tool for analyzing the obtained data. In addition, a questionnaire was employed as the research instrument, and samples were gathered using the total sampling technique, obtaining 71 respondents. Based on the results of this study, leadership, the implementation of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRARC), and organizational learning had a significant impact on the safety culture maturity level (p value < 0.005). In contrast, management commitment, competence, and communication did not have a partially significant impact on the safety culture maturity level (p value > 0.005). From this study, it could be inferred that leadership, management commitment, the implementation of HIRARC, competence, communication, and organizational learning could excellently and completely explain the safety culture maturity level of 86.4%.en_US
