    Abstract
Moringa (Moringa oleifera) grows in the lowlands and highlands. Moringa leaves contain crude protein, crude fat, energy, crude fiber, ash, water content, carbohydrates, and calcium. Sensi-1 Agrinak chicken is one of the pure line broiler type chickens from the research. The nutritional needs of native chickens are obtained from feed that has good quality but the high cost of feed from commercial feed sometimes makes it difficult for farmers. For this reason, it is necessary to have alternative feed ingredients that have good nutritional content. One of the alternative feed ingredients that can be used is Moringa leaves. This study aims to determine the effect of using Moringa leaf flour (Moringa oleifera) in feed on the percentage of commercial carcass pieces and reducing abdominal fat in Sensi-1 Agrinak chickens. This research was conducted in the enclosure of the Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra from April to June 2021. This research was conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. Each replication consisted of 5 DOC tails. The treatments consisted of P0 = No Moringa leaf powder, P1 = 1.5% Moringa leaf flour in the ration, P2 = 3% Moringa leaf flour in the ration, P3 = 4.5% Moringa leaf flour in the ration, and P4 = 6% Moringa leaf powder. Moringa in rations. The parameters in this study consisted of slaughter weight, carcass percentage, chest weight percentage, thigh weight percentage, wing weight percentage, back weight percentage, and abdominal fat percentage. The results of this study showed that the use of 1.5% Moringa leaf flour in the ration was able to increase the slaughter weight, chest weight, thigh weight, back weight, and abdominal fat weight, but showed no significant differences in the percentage of chest weight, pha weight percentage, and percentage of back weight. This shows that the addition of 1.5% Moringa leaf flour is good for adding to the ration of chicken sensi-1 Agrinak.
