Human resources are the main assets in the operation of every company. Therefore, it is necessary to provide maximum attention to employees. The background of this research arises from various factors that affect employee performance, including leadership style, where participative leadership can increase enthusiasm and has a positive potential in terms of productivity, better work quality, and achieving goals within the work environment, while adhering to established norms, guidelines, and rules. This study aims to examine the impact of leadership style, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT Bank Sumut USU Branch.
This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT Bank Sumut USU Branch. The influence of leadership style, motivation, and work environment will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on employee performance.
This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling was carried out through non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique, involving 34 respondents as samples. The sampling technique used in this research is saturation sampling. Data analysis techniques include instrument test, validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
The results of this research show that the variables of leadership style, motivation, and work environment partially and simultaneously influence employee performance at PT Bank Sumut USU Branch. The coefficient of determination test indicates that the relationship between leadership style, motivation, and work environment on employee performance is close with an R value of 0.338. Through the Adjusted R Square value, it is known that leadership style, motivation, and work environment can explain 78.7% of employee performance, while the remaining 21.3% is influenced by other variables outside the variables under study.
