dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine effect of vermicompost dose and liquid organic fertilizer concentration on growth and production of Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L.). This research was conducted on Jl. Cempaka Raya Baru I, Sempakata, Medan Selayang District, Medan City, North Sumatra with a height of ±32 meters above sea level and at coordinates 3°32'17.4"N 98°37'24.8"E from February to May 2023. This study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) method. factorial with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the 4 dose levels of vermicompost, namely: 0, 5, 10, 15 ton/ha. The second factor was 3 dose levels of liquid organik fertilizer, namely: 0, 5, 10 ml/L. The results of this study indicate that the the vermicompost dose treatment had a significant effect on the number of tubers per sample, class A and B grading, tuber weight per sample, tuber weight per plot. The highest tuber weight per plot was given at a dose of 15 ton/ha. The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer significantly affected the length of plants at 2-5, and 7 WAP. The highest the length of plants at 10 WAP was given at a concentration of 10 ml/L. The interaction between the dose of vermicompost and liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect of tuber weight per plot, which was highest in the combination treatment of 15 ton/ha of vermicompost dose and 5ml/L of liquid organic fertilizer concentration. | en_US |
