dc.description.abstractThe stationary blade is one of the main components in the steam turbine, the steam turbine has two types of blades, namely the moving blade and the stationary blade where both blades have different functions in utilizing the steam energy received by the turbine. The vapor flow passing through part of the turbine blade is complex. CFD analysis can help understand the flow behavior in various parts of the steam turbine, which is quite important to assess the turbine performance and the distribution of flow parameters such as pressure, temperature and steam velocity. This study was conducted to obtain velocity, pressure, and temperature distributions using Fluent CFD analysis. In this simulation, the turbine used is a two-row singlestage steam turbine using a semicircular guide blade ring. This simulation uses a variety of different types of steam, namely superheated and saturated steam. Based on the simulation, the speed generated using superheated steam produces a speed of 151.95 m/s at the outlet area of the second row of blades, while using saturated steam produces a speed of 143.82 m/s. The simulation results of pressure distribution in simulations on superheated steam and saturated steam produce pressures of 3.4 bar and 3.3 bar. And the simulation results of temperature distribution in superheated steam and saturated steam with an average output of 415.79 K and 417.45 K. Percent error from simulation results and theoretical calculations on velocity distribution in superheated steam and saturated steam, obtained by 3.95% and 4.88%. Percent error of pressure and temperature distribution using actual conditions as a comparison of simulation results. The percent error in the pressure distribution is 0.85% and 6%, while the percent error for temperature distribution is 0.94% and 1.34%.en_US
