Shallots are a leading horticultural commodity that has the prospect of fulfilling national consumption, a source of income for farmers and foreign exchange. Application of chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer for lamtoro leaves is an alternative in an effort to increase the productivity of shallot bulbs and reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. This study aims to obtain the effect of chicken manure, lamtoro leaf liquid organic fertilizer and its interaction on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted on Jalan Ikahi, Padang Bulan, Kec. Medan Selayang, Medan City, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 25 m above sea level (m asl) starting from February to May 2023. This study use a randomized block design (RBD) within two factors and three replicates. Factor I (chicken manure) consists of K0=control; K1=10; K2=20; K3=30 ton/ha. Factor II (concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from lamtoro leaves) consists of C0=control; C1=10; C2=20; C3=30%. Data were analyzed using an ANOVA and continued with a Duncan test at the rate of 5%. The results showed that chicken manure at a dose of 30 ton/ha was able to increase plant length, tuber fresh weight, and onion bulb dry weight. Lamtoro leaf liquid organic fertilizer has not been able to significantly improve the growth and production of shallots, and there is no interaction between chicken manure and lamtoro leaf liquid organic fertilizer.en_US
