dc.description.abstract | This research aims to determine whether there are differences in production between each sweet potato genotype from the highlands of Simalungun Regency in the lowlands, four genotypes of sweet potato plants (Ipomoea batatas L.) from Simalungun. The research was carried out on Jalan Sembada IX, Padang Bulan Selayang II, Medan Selayang, Medan City, North Sumatra. With an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level from June to September 2023. This research used a Randomized Block design with one sweet potato genotype factor, namely Silimakuta Genotype, Bangun Mariah Village, Silimakuta Genotype, Saribu Dolok Village, Silimakuta Genotype, Purba Sinombah Village and Silimakuta Genotype, Village Old Ancient. The parameters observed were morphological characters, length of tendrils, number of tubers planted, weight of tubers planted, and average weight of tubers per plot. The research results showed that the treatment of local genotypes from Simalungun Regency, Silimakuta District, Saribu Dolok Village produced the highest production compared to several other local Simalungun genotypes. | en_US |
