Peanuts are an important ingredient in the national food strategy because in addition to serving as a source of protein, it also has a relatively high economic value. The use of empty fruit bunches of oil palm compost and NPK fertilizer is one of the alternatives in an effort to increase the productivity of peanut plants. This research aims to determine the correct dosage of empty fruit bunches of oil palm compost and NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of peanuts. This research was held at Simalingkar B subdistrict, Medan Tuntungan district, Medan with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level (asl) from April to July 2022. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factors, namely the application of empty fruit bunches of oil palm compost: 0; 3; 6 and 9 tons/ha and NPK fertilizer: 0;150; 300 and 450 kg/ha. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance, the significant variance was continued by using Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of empty fruit bunches of oil palm compost to plants had a significant effect on the observation parameters of plant height, number of primary branches, pod weight per plant, 100 seed weight, and seed weight per plot, but had no significant effect on the observation variables of dry weight of plant crown, wet weight of plant crown, the number of filled pods, the number of empty pods, the number of pods per plant, seed weight per plant, and harvest index. And the application of NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on the observation variables of plant height, crown wet weight, crown dry weight, number of filled pods, number of pods per plant, pod weight per plant, seed weight per plant, 100 seed weight, and seed weight per plot, but had no significant effect on the observation variables of number of primary branches, number of empty pods, and harvest index. The interaction of the two factors did not significantly affect on all parameters.en_US
