The study was aimed to determine the effect of chicken manure, coconut shell biochar and their interaction on the growth and yield of Shallots. This study was condected at the Ikahi, Medan Baru, North Sumatera from January to April 2023. This study use a randomized block design (RBD) within two factors and three replicates. The first factor was chicken manure, include P0=untreated; P1=10; P2=20; P3=30 ton/ha. The second factors was cocnut shell biochar, include B0=untreated; B1=10; B2=20; B3=30 ton/ha. Data were analyzed using an ANOVA and continued with a Duncan test at the rate of 5%. The results showed that chicken manure 30 ton/ha could increase the length height, diameter and of bulbs number /samples of shallots. Coconut shell biochar had an insignificant effect on all shallot plant parameters. The interactions had an insignificant effect on the growth and yield of shallots.en_US
