Analisis Perbandingan Struktur Bangunan Open Frame dan Struktur Bangunan dengan Shearwall terhadap Beban Lateral
Abstract
In planning high-rise buildings, it is necessary to consider the strength of the structure in resisting earthquake forces. So in high-rise buildings, additional reinforcement is needed to withstand the earthquake forces that work, namely by adding shearwall. Shearwall is one of the most effective building stiffening elements in resisting lateral forces during an earthquake. This study aims to compare the open frame building structure and building structure with shearwall to the structural period, displacement, story drift, and internal force using Midas Gen 2022 software. In this study, three structural modeling was made, namely an open frame structure (Model 1), a structure with a shearwall at the edge of the building (Model 2), and a structure with a shearwall in the middle of the building (Model 3). Based on the analysis, it is found that the addition of shearwall to a building structure can minimize the structural period, displacement, story drift, and force in a structure. This is because the addition of shearwall to the structure can increase the stiffness of a structure.
