Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Produk Oleokimia Berbasis Kelapa Sawit dengan Metode Drp (Distribution Resources Planning)

Abstract

PT. Socimas is a company that produces Palm Oil-based Oleochemicals, the products produced are Fractionated Fatty Acids, Distilled Fatty Acids, Oleic Acid, Glycerin, Soap Noodles, and Distilled Fatty Acid Mixtures. In the procurement of goods, problems often occur such as the number of goods not matching the order, resulting in additional costs to overcome these problems. This happens because the pattern of procurement and delivery of goods is not in accordance with demand so that the number of available products in the warehouse cannot meet consumer demand. This research aims to analyze the inventory control process of Palm Oil-based Oleochemical products using the Distribution Resources Planning (DRP) method which uses the Lot Sizing Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ) methods. The ordering and holding costs applied by the Company are IDR 6,951,472,138,871, while the comparison results of the two Lot Sizes show that Period Order Quantity (POQ) is the most economical type of Lot Size with total ordering and holding costs of IDR 2,027,330,646 ,229
