Gaya Kepemimpinan Politik Bobby Nasution sebagai Walikota Medan Pada Tahun 2021-2023

Abstract

Political leadership style is a crucial factor determining the success of a leader. The leadership style of Bobby Nasution, the Mayor of Medan for the 2021-2024 term, has garnered public attention. His leadership, characterized by surprise inspections, direct engagement with the community, and a commitment to transparency and accountability, has received positive responses from the public. This research aims to analyze the political leadership style employed by Bobby Nasution, a prominent political figure in the Indonesian political arena. The qualitative method was employed, and data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Bobby Nasution adopts a democratic leadership style, emphasizing active participation from all relevant parties in political decision-making. Additionally, the analysis uncovers effective communication strategies that contribute to building a positive image in the eyes of the public. This study contributes to the understanding of political leadership in Indonesia, particularly within the context of Bobby Nasution's political career. The implications of these findings can serve as a foundation for developing more effective leadership models in the Indonesian political landscape.
