Water is one of the natural resources that has a crucial role in life. About 97% of the water available on earth is salt water and 2% of the water available is in the form of glaciers. With such a small amount of clean water, the shortage of clean water is still prevalent in many countries around the world. To overcome this situation, the process of distillation has been used for decades. Desalination is basically the process of treating saltwater into clean water. In a double basin solar still, the latent heat of condensation in the lower basin will go to the water in the basin above. The water in the second basin will be evaporated and condensed on the second layer of glass, the water in the second basin is at the top of the lower basin glass. This study aims to analyze the distillation mass and efficiency of the double basin double slope solar still theoretically and experimentally. The results of this study show that there is a difference of 3.39% in the distillation mass and efficiency of the theoretical double slope double basin solar still of 29.52% and experimental of 28.41%.en_US
