Analisis Kadar Logam Besi, Kadmium, dan Kromium dalam Road Dust Re-Suspension (RDR-S) Serta Pola Persebarannya di Jalan Sisingamangaraja
Abstract
Technological advances that produce ernissions from transportation activities cause the co,nposition of free air to change. Air pollt1tion is also cat1sed by road dust in the for,11 of solid particles scattered on the road s1uface which are suspended in the air throt1gh traffic and wind. Road dt1st suspension is one source of particles that itnpact air quality. This research was condt1cted to ,neasure the ,netal levels of iron (Fe), cad111iun1 (Cd) and chro111i un1 (Cr) in road dt1st on Jalan Sisinganiangaraja as well as the distribution pattern of road dt1st re-st1spensio11 using the Gaussian dispersion niethod. Road dust sa,nples 011 the side of the road were collected using a vacuuni pump and dust in the air was collected using an i,npinger. The road dust obtained is sieved using a JOO mesh sieve and then destroyed using the acid 111ethod which refers to SNI-8910:2021. Analysis of iron (Fe), cad1niun1 (Cd ) and chro1nit1111 (Cr) nietal levels in road dust using Ato,nic Absorption Spectrophoto,netry (AAS) produced 274.8 ,ng/L, 0.086 ,ngll and 0.983 ,ng/L. Meast1re,nent of the distribution pattern using the Gat1ssian dispersion n1ethod was carried ot1t at points 1, 2 and 3 resulting in dust concentrations of 1,566.8862 µglrn3, 520.7805 1gln13 and 256.4081 pg/1113 respectively. Meanwhile, the dust concentration with direct ,neasurements at each point was 350,810.05 1gln13, 266 ,8 28.2l pg/1113 and 258,750.01 pg/1113. The highest concentration was obtained at point 1. Fro111 the results obtained, the further the distance from the ernission sot1rce, the lower the pollutant concentration.
