    Abstract
Kidney failure is a condition of irreversible decline in kidney function which causes the inability of the kidneys to remove waste products and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance. Patients with chronic kidney failure require dialysis therapy, one of which is Hemodialysis (HD). HD patients will lose their freedom because of various regulations and are very dependent on health workers. This condition affects the patient's quality of life and is prone to psychological problems, one of which is anxiety. Anxiety can reduce the field of individual perception. Someone with anxiety tends to focus on something detailed and specific, so they can't think about anything else. Effective interventions are needed to overcome anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis. The intervention that can be applied is by giving classical music therapy (Beethoven). The purpose of this senior practicum is to carry out the management of nursing care for chronic kidney failure patients with classical music therapy (Beethoven): anxiety in hemodialysis patients in the hemodialysis room at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, University of North Sumatra. Nursing care is carried out in the hemodialysis room at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, University of North Sumatra, with 3 patients being managed. The therapy given is classical music therapy (Beethoven) which is considered capable of reducing anxiety. Therapy is carried out twice a week with a duration of 15-20 minutes. Giving classical music therapy gets a positive response from the three clients, namely feeling calmer and less anxious. The conclusion obtained is that classical music therapy (Beethoven) is effective in reducing anxiety felt by hemodialysis patients.
