dc.description.abstract | This laboratory research aims to investigate the potential of cow bone ash and cow teeth ash as substitutes for SP-36 fertilizer. This research was conducted at the Research and Technology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan. The study employed a 2-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was the type of P fertilizer, namely: control (P0), SP-36 with a dose of 200 ppm P (PS), cow bone ash with a dose of 200 ppm P (PT), and cow teeth ash with a dose of 200 ppm P (PG). The second factor was the incubation period, which consisted of 0 days (I0), 10 days (I10), 20 days (I20), and 30 days (I30), with each treatment replicated 3 times. The parameters observed included pH H2O and P-available. This research showed that the application of cow bone ash and cow teeth ash is capable of increasing pH H2O and providing P in Inceptisol soil. The application of cow bone ash and cow teeth ash was more effective in increasing pH H2O and P-available compared to SP-36 fertilizer, showing their capacity to replace SP-36 fertilizer. | en_US |
