dc.description.abstractAspen Plus software is a simulation software that can calculate fluid or refrigerant flow in cooling machines. The objectives of this research include designing a vapor compression cycle model applied to a car air conditioner using Aspen software which includes compressor power, condenser and evaporator capacity using R134a refrigerant, designing a vapor compression cycle model applied to a car air conditioner using Aspen software which includes compressor power, capacity. condenser and evaporator using refrigerant R600a, changing parameters to obtain optimal performance and in accordance with experimental studies, and analyzing the results by comparing the performance of the vapor compression cycle with refrigerant R-134a and refrigerant R-600a. The method used is the Aspen Plus simulation method which aims to get an overview of the design that was created. The results obtained from this research are the performance of the cop produced by the car air conditioner in the simulation software.en_US
