    Abstract
The progress of the internet entering and developing in our country, hallyu or the Korean wave is clear evidence of how widely South Korean pop culture is spread globally. The most popular Korean wave is K-Pop. The NCT boy group is clear evidence of the development of Korean culture. NCT (Neo Culture Technology) is very well known among K-Pop fans. K-Pop fans like NCTzens have spawned a fandom. Fandom is a group of people who form a group which is used as a place to share and discuss K-Pop idols. Fanaticism and solidarity within the K-pop fan community (fandom) have become a significant social phenomenon. This research aims to explore fanaticism behavior in NCT fan solidarity in Medan City, as well as to understand the impact and factors that influence it. In this research, the research used is a descriptive method with qualitative research. The data collection technique used was interview observation and documentation. The theoretical basis used is Charles Horton Cooley's looking-glass-self theory. NCT fans in Medan City feel they have a close bond and feel accepted in this community. In addition, this research also identifies factors that influence fanaticism and solidarity, including identification with a group, participation in fandom activities, and the influence of social media. The results of this research indicate that fanaticism in this fandom has a significant influence on fans' self-image. This research reveals that a positive self- image in the NCT fandom can increase self-confidence in supporting the group and interacting with fellow fans. However, this research also identified the negative impacts of bigotry, including pressure to maintain a positive self-image and tensions within communities due to differences of opinion. Moreover, awareness of negative opinions from people outside the fandom can affect an individual's self- image.
