Prarancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Pulp dari Kayu Eucalyptus dengan Proses Kraft dan Bleaching menggunakan Enzim Lakase Kapasitas 120.000 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Keteknikan Detail Reaktor Lakase
Abstract
Pre-designed factory for making pulp from eucalyptus wood using kraft and bleaching processes using laccase enzymes with a capacity of 120,000 tons/year and operating for 330 days a year. The process in pre-designing this factory consists of several stages, namely the raw material preparation stage, the pretreatment stage using the kraft process, the bleaching stage using laccase enzymes and sodium hydroxide, the drying stage, pulp packaging and storage, and the cooking solution recovery stage. The kraft stage operates at a temperature of 176°C for 2 hours. The amount of eucalyptus wood required to reach annual production capacity is 46,747.719 kg/hour.
This factory for making pulp from eucalyptus wood using the kraft process is planned to be established in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, with a total factory area of 31,175 m2. The planned form of company business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational form, and a total of 226 employees.
The results of the economic analysis on the pre-design of this factory are as follows:
• Capital Investment (CI) = Rp 2.343.417.582.171
• Total Cost (TC) = Rp 1.938.870.993.719
• Profit Margin (PM) = 27%
• Break Even Point (BEP) = 43,53%
• Return on Investment (ROI) = 19,45%
• Return on Network (RON) = 32,42%
• Pay Out Time (POT) = 5 tahun 2 bulan
• Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 32,54%
Based on the results of the economic analysis, it can be concluded that a pulp mill from eucalyptus wood using the kraft and bleaching process using the laccase enzyme is feasible to establish.
