dc.description.abstract | In an effort to reduce dependence on imports of chemical products, the government has established regulations that encourage the growth of the industry. One of the important industrial sectors that has bright prospects is the chemical industry. Among these chemicals is stearamide which is an amide compound which has many benefits/uses in industries such as the cosmetics, detergent, rubber and other industries.
The Pre-Design Factory for Making Stearamide from Stearic Acid is planned to have a capacity of 7.500 tons/year and operate for 330 days a year. The factory location is planned to be built in the Medan Indutrial Area, Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera, 20371 with a required land area of 14.600 m2.
The workforce that will be needed is 150 people. The form of business entity used is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff system organizational form.
